Mr. Keith Miller is a licensed clinical social worker, certified Imago Relationship Therapist and certified Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist. He works with couples and individuals and specializes in relationship issues as well as mindfulness-based therapy for anxiety and stress reduction. He has studied and trained extensively with top innovators in psychotherapy and has undergone intensive post-graduate psychotherapy training. He combines two systematic forms of psychotherapy in his practice and has years of first-hand personal experience learning about successfully making change happen within a relationship and for personal growth. Mr. Sam Allen is a couples and family therapist with a special interest in gender and sexual minorities. Utilizing integrative techniques based in cognitive-behavioral, feminist, and intergenerational models of therapy, Sam enjoys working with couples and individuals across a range of relational and identity-based concerns. Sam is also a current PhD student in family science at The University of Maryland; his research focuses on transgender and gender non-conforming children and racial minority families.

In addition to working with couples and individuals of all genders, Sam has experience with eating disorders, anxiety, mindfulness, poly/kink and queer issues, and family-of-origin concerns. Sam can conduct therapy in Hebrew and enjoys working with culturally diverse clientele.

She has received training from several of the leading masters in the field of couples therapy and marriage education. In addition to holding a postgraduate certificate in trauma from Harvard University, she has considerable expertise in working with diverse immigrant populations and intercultural relationships.

(EFT is one of the most researched methods of couples therapy, known for creating safety and structure needed to effectively resolve conflict.)

Dr. Tova Rubin is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience working with individuals and couples. Tova specializes in treating mood disorders, anxiety, recovery from emotional trauma, alcohol recovery, and emotional eating, as well as helping couples create better connection with emotionally-based couples therapy. Much of her work also draws upon cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy. Dr. Rubin graduated with distinction from the doctoral program at Vanderbilt University and moved to San Antonio in 2001 to complete her residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center. In addition to her experience in private practice, she has volunteered with hospice care and grief counseling. Dr. Rubin taught “The Science of Positive Psychology” at UTSA and served as clinical faculty at the University of Texas Health Science Center where she supervised Psychiatric Residents.  Dr. Rubin was proud to serve the San Antonio community until her recent relocation to the Washington DC area. She currently supervises 4th and 5th year clinical psychology students at the George Washington University.
