How We Help: Bulimia Treatment DC

Using psychotherapy to overcome your eating disorder is based on establishing healthy habits around food and learning how your patterns with food are connected to emotions. Your counselor will be by your side as you learn to handle tough emotions in healthy ways so that you can trust your body again. Our therapists have the patience, skill, and experience to build the kind of safety that you need to let your guard down and share your inner world with someone that can help.

Eating disorders are physically dangerous. Because of the danger you may have had the experience of getting treatment that focused too much on compliance.
