Keith Miller is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Certified Imago Relationship Therapist. He has practiced psychotherapy in a variety of clinical settings and holds a graduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. He received additional psychotherapy training at the Imago Relationship Institute and the Washington School of Psychiatry. His undergraduate degree is in theology.
An important attribute of Keith’s counseling approach is that he provides a friendly, supportive space for people to experience growth and healing. Through the experience of unconditional acceptence that therapy provides, he seeks to empower others to live with grace and hope in life’s journey.
As a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist, Keith is specially trained to help people look at the complex processes that contribute to either conflict or connection in relationships. He began sharing Imago work with other couples after his own marriage was affected significantly by using Imago. He teaches an Imago course for churches called Couplehood as a Spiritual Path.
Keith and his wife share the joys and challenges of marriage, parenting, and growing a garden at their home near Capitol Hill. He also enjoys writing and is co-author of research appearing in the journal Addictive Behaviors (2005).
